Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how the Fasting iOS app (“the app”) handles your information. The short version: it doesn't. The app is designed to work entirely on your device, with no servers of our own and no third-party tracking.

1. What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, or receive any personal data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising SDKs.

2. What's stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your iPhone, inside the app's private sandbox:

• Your fasting sessions (start time, end time, whether a fast is currently active).
• Your fasting goals and eating-window preferences.
• App settings such as Live Activity preferences and onboarding state.

This data is held in Apple's SwiftData store and in iOS UserDefaults. It stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed by iOS along with the app.

3. No accounts, no sign-in

The app has no concept of an account. You don't create one, and we don't have one for you.

4. No analytics, no tracking

The app does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporters from third parties, advertising libraries, or other trackers. We do not measure your usage. We do not have a way to.

5. Live Activities

The app uses Apple's ActivityKit to show your fasting timer on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. Live Activities run entirely on-device — there is no push server involved, and no information about your activities is sent to us.

6. Diagnostics shared with Apple

iOS may share crash reports and diagnostics with Apple based on your device-wide settings. That data flows to Apple, not to us, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can adjust diagnostic sharing in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not target or profile any age group.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example, if optional iCloud sync is added in the future — this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change.
